A
large heart is one that holds the things of God in high esteem; serves God with
readiness – all the times; is joyful in serving God; and always wants to serve
God.
In
1 Kings 3:4, the Bible said, “Now the
king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there, for that was the great high place:
Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar”.NKJV
What
could be deduced from here is that, Solomon has a large heart in rendering
worship and services to God.
I.WHO POSSESSES A LARGE HEART?

Large heart is not a gift of the Holy Spirit and neither a Fruit of the
Spirit: The attitudes of a person toward the works of God give ‘a
large heart’.
When you serve God with a righteous heart: Your relationship with God
grows bit by bit – into the measure of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
II.CAUTION POINTS
What this means is ‘pot holes to
watch out for when serving God’. God is never a respecter of person/man:
Hence, a great precaution must be taken in His service. Yet, God is not wicked.
You must be careful of:
A.Your thoughts (James 1:13-15).
B.Your lips (James 3:2).
C.Your feelings (Pro 4:23).
D.Your leaders, followers and family
members (1 king 13:11-22; 2 king
5:23-27; and Job 2:9).
III.EFFECTS OF HAVING A LARGE HEART
A.It boosts the confidence of people,
around you and those who hear of you, in God.
B.It advances the work of the
ministry.
C.It sets you higher: God will cause
men to work for you.
D.Your name is written in Gold,
because, God will cause you to undertake projects that will pass the test of
time.
E.Your life will never be backward.
IV.Conclusion
Everything
that a man sets his heart on could be achieved… God created men with the
ability to make choices and Christ gives us the ability to make right choices,
except that we live a sinful life.
I
invite you to Jesus today, if you have not received Him as your Lord and

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, please, come and be the Lord of my
life. I realize that my ways are not right before you, all these days, please,
forgive me of my iniquities and make me your bosom friend. Let the Holy Spirit
be my companion all my days, from henceforth, and let your Father, God, who is
now my Father, have mercy on me.
I
believe that my name is now written in the book of life in Heaven. Therefore, I
pray, that the grace to continue in my salvation till the end of my life be
multiplied unto me, on daily basis, and give me the grace to be able to reveal
Christ to all that come in contact with me.
Thank
you Jesus for saving me; thank you Father for the death of Jesus, which is the
remission of my sins; and thank you Holy Spirit for you will guide me not to
work in the flesh anymore.

INSTRUCTIONS:

B.Always join the fellowship of people that are worshipping God, without
doctrine that negates what the Bible says.
C.Please, live by the word of God on daily basis: Do what the Bible
teaches, and where you are not clear, seek help from those that are Christians,
as well as, the Holy Spirit.
D.Always teach the word of God.
E.Let everyone know that you are now a child of God: They will not try to
pull you into sins, like before.
